How to choose your Mobility Scooter
The first thing you need to figure out is where are you going to drive this, indoor or outdoor (or both), and do you need to carry in the car?
Small Size / Portable / Scooters: Like our E410, E420, E430. These are take-apart scooter. They are excellent indoor and occasional ride outdoor. The E430 has a decent range and rear suspension for a smoother ride and a acceptable range for a neighborhood ride.
Mid Size Scooters: Like our E450 These have larger air filled tire and decent suspension, they are still manageable indoor in most situation. They will run on gravel or paved surfaces and offer a decent range so you can do your local errands.
Full Size Scooters: Like our T340, E470, EVADER, VIEW, E490, and COZY These have larger air filled tire and decent suspension, they are normally too big for indoor, but offers the best ride and range for your across-town expeditions. They will run on gravel or paved surfaces and are also more comfortable for larger riders.
Off-Road Scooter: If you plan on doing some riding in the woods, lawns, etc. consider the E490, it offers excellent traction and plenty of torque at the wheels.
Control Type: There are two types of controls, Tiller and Handlebar. Tiller control (E410, E420, E430, E450, E470, E490) are the easiest to use for persons with limited hand dexterity, the forward / reverse is controlled by small levers. The handlebar controls are usually found on scooters with a higher top speed, like the T340, EVADER, VIEW and COZY, speed control is a twist throttle and have levers on the handlebar to activate the brakes (like a bicycle).

Warranty
Etech Scooters are warrantied for two (2) years on the Frame, Motor, Gearbox and one (1) year on most of the other components from the purchase date, to the original owner. Batteries and charger have a six (6) month warranty, wear parts and cosmetics are not warrantied (paint, plastics, tires, seats, brakes, wheel alignment, etc). We service what we sell at our Shediac Cape shop, all warranty service is done as per approval from our suppliers (this warranty applied to units sold after January 1, 2023).
Mobility Scooter Regulations
All our Mobility Scooter are classified as "Class 1 medical device". When driving them, you have to obey the same rules as a pedestrian, meaning that you should drive on the sidewalk or shoulder of the road if no (or unpracticable) sidewalk.
